The first Spectral Rebel Release is signed by Logotech, a Neapolitan talented dj/producer almost became established from many years in the Techno scene for his ability to create unions between the old school soul side of the genre and an ever-renewed way to conceive each production.
A-side opens the release with “To Sma Angribere” a powerful track marked by aggressives and firmed kicks like pistons at full capacity, surrounded by acid scribbles in the deepest space, trait of the fittest Logotech. Mattias Fridell signs the A side with his precious remix, a track which gives rise to a simple but psicolabile groove that makes you fall into a trance, escorted by an infinite droned trail scanned by snatchy tolls like ancient gongs. The back side is dedicated to “Sub Lunar Phase II”, an ancestral and quasi-sacred plot of acid stabs and trippy pads, almost an ode which consacrate the long journey that is going to take Spectral Rebel’s concept. Takatsugu Wada remix of B side places the track under other spothlights rivisiting it with a shiny and accelerate mood.
I am just as guilty as anyone else for doing term paper samples this
After the great debut of some month ago, Spectral Rebel is ready to return with another massive release, this time signed by a further coming up artist in the techno scene: Manuel Di Martino. Known for his leaning for an old school rugged way of interpret productions and sets, Manuel shows us his acidest side in a one-sided 12″ vinyl, accompanied by the new young revelation of our times, the composer, arranger and pianist Raffaele Attanasio, making this second release, an absolute masterpiece.
“Raw Intentions” isn’t only the release title, but the perfect concise description of the entire incision. The original one starts with a simply running nocturnal rhythm hard and chary at the same time but, after a while, give off, almost as a surprise, its real soul, an incessant flooding river of acid stabs, angry bites which rain in a fluctuating progress inducing any individual on the dance floor to deal with an huge sharp wall of sound waves.
Raffaele Attanasio put his sign on with an unique and nonpareil version, combining both his distinctive mark of piano artist and his “raw” soul represented by his alias X501. Almost heard several times in his live sets, this work is recognizable for the mathematically combination of overdrived harsh kicks crossed by acid stabs, all broked suddenly by a melodically solo piano touch which puts you in a short deep dream.
Finally “V3″ closes the EP as a digital bonus original track that confirms the acid taste of the release with an hammering pulsing drum kit worthy of the oldest techno tunes.

Spectral Rebel 003: Miriam Macri – Manifesto Blanco EP
Miriam Macri – Manifesto Blanco (Original)
Miriam Macri – Manifesto Blanco (Hertz Collision remix)
Miriam Macri – Essenza (Original)
Miriam Macri – Essenza (Future 16 remix)
Format: Digital
Spectral Rebel hits again, finally with the 3rd release signed by Miriam Macrì one of the main italian female promises in the techno scene thanks to her brilliant career that ranges from the rawest techno to the deepest and introspective experiments.
Manifesto Blanco wants to disconnect from the main influences and trends, wanting to represent the possibility to connect different representations of the essence of each of us, placing on the table a value that makes the work an unique piece of complete freedom of expression, without being tied “directly” to each other.
The first track, homonymous of the release, is an introspective dubbing deep trip going through an intimate soft and pure mood, wrapping the listener in an hypnotic sensuality. The remix of the florentine duo, “Hertz Collision”, is a distorted vision of the original, a complex crescendo resembling an unpredictability sea in full, becoming aggressive even before you can realize it, catapulting suddenly everything in a dangerous temper.
The other Miriam’s original “Essenza” recovers the sneaky mood of the first one. Here the groove is more wired, embroidered in a murky pad that transmits a sort of warm narrow state of mind meanwhile a series of acid spin stabs are about to announce something that is going to happen and while it seems everything is going to fall, the true “essence” of freedom comes out with an emotional calm explosion. As also the other remix, the Future 16 one to “Essenza” shows completely another dimension, here of the acid use, of course the most aggressive. This tune is violent, is raw, is uncaring of everything and everyone, raw and rough maybe the “rebel” piece of the release.

Spectral Rebel 005: Joton – Prisoner Of Time EP
Joton lands on Spectral Rebel for the 5th release. “Prisoner of Time” EP expresses the artist’s flair and his perception of being catched by the time flow, thanks to three hypnotic tracks which remark his unmistakeble imprint. The release shows us different styles to approach the dancefloor but basically all with the same mental and dark philosophy.

Spectral Rebel 006: B R 1 0 0 2 – Sinister Assault EP
Spectral Rebel welcomes to B R 1 0 0 2 for the sixth release, the two young producers who, beyond a gentle visage, hide an extreme techno side. The title, “Sinister Assault”, is the proof of that!
“Mr & Miss Esin” is not a love affair, as the title could suggest, but it’s a rhythmic and growing intensity piece with some acidic repetitive patterns. The distortions are the icing on the cake.
“1100010001″ can be defined as the manifesto of the raw-est sounds. The metallic vocal opens to a powerful track, with no place for sentimentalism.
The echo of the industrial noise is remarkable also in “Rechted”, the third track of this EP, and it’s an intense recall to the acid grooves too.
The breaking point of “Sinister Assault” is “Sferiche Opzioni”. It’s the perfect trip for the mind, leaving the imagination in idyllic soundscapes.
A musthave for your library.

Back to the vinyl rules, Spectral Rebel is proud to present its collaboration with the Dutch duo Abstract Division, featuring two originals and two remixes by Mike Storm and Re:Axis.
The good architecture of “Convergent” opens the EP with a slow but strong climax; hypnotic rhythms and ambient sounds create an elegant atmosphere, surrounded by a resonant voice.
“Divergent” shows a deeper concept of techno: the emotional melody keeps the track into a new landscape, merging with a heavy basslines.
Mike Storm is a familiar name to the label. His remix reshapes the original track “Convergent” and takes us into an interstellar trip through the cosmos. The atmosphere is intense.
Re:Axis version of “Divergent” is a high-energy piece and it’s definitely the powerful techno punch of this EP. Classic drum sounds combine with vibrating kicks and some loopy cuts.
SPR007 is an ecstasy for ears and a proper bang for dancefloors.
